about
"Build the Wall" was Censored from all replays after a live appearance on FADE-TV, due to it's title being too triggering. Literally, that's what they said.
Oh yeah, also it was named the "Anti-Trump Song of the Week" by Canadian Radio Consultant Alan Cross... so try and square that shit kids.
Really this song for everyone on both sides of the aisle.
lyrics
take a look, my friend, you'll see your sordid ideology
is violently rippin' at the seams
what goes on behind your nose, like the sand that shifts beneath your toes
is meltin' away like ice cream
how long can you cling to the thought that you were owed and you should ought
to be at the top of the heap?
you can call it anything you please, but wrappin' it up in ribbons and beads
don't make any difference to me
i know you go any which way the wind blows
the wind's blowin' to the right side of the moat
will you undo everything that you've been through?
or follow the goat any which way he may roam
he's gonna make a mess of everything
still you're gonna kiss his ring
he's gonna make a mess of everything
still you're gonna kneel before your king
so dearly you do cling to these things
which would have you believe you're right
out of sight, out of mind
what you don't see you don't believe
i know you go any which way the wind blows
the wind's blowin' to the right side of the moat
will you undo everything that you've been through?
or follow the goat any which way he may roam

Riff-Heavy Stoner Rock swagger, courtesy of our own Ben Foerg on the skins. Recorded live in concert, this was actually Ben's first gig w/ Karma Vulture, who have an upcoming EP, presently in mixing. The Absurd
Our own Ben Foerg worked on this record's production with Roberto Del Raspado, one of the finest songwriters around these days. Hooks, chill yet challenging vibes, and good lyrics abound. The Absurd

To me this is like 70ies Heavy Metal in nearly all aspects. I can understand the comparisons to Motörhead but to me they don’t really sound like them, except maybe for the Heavy Blue style lead breaks. What they do have is the drive, gravelly vocals and swagger of Motörhead. This they have that in buckets. Super fun Heavy Metal/Hard Rock that just doesn’t age. Harry Harrison
