The Absurd began as a folk rock collaboration between Ben & Josh. Ben's singer-songwriter artistic whims are expressed thusly herein.

Riff-Heavy Stoner Rock swagger, courtesy of our own Ben Foerg on the skins. Recorded live in concert, this was actually Ben's first gig w/ Karma Vulture, who have an upcoming EP, presently in mixing. The Absurd
Our own Ben Foerg worked on this record's production with Roberto Del Raspado, one of the finest songwriters around these days. Hooks, chill yet challenging vibes, and good lyrics abound. The Absurd

SGT Thunderhoof has become one of my favourite bands…..ever. And if I was held at gun point and asked which was my favourite albums from them, it would be this one, Ride of the Hoof. I listen to ST a lot but my go-to album is this one. If I’m not careful, I don’t give the other ST albums a fair go and that would just be depriving me of the greatness of all their other awesome tunes. With only a limited number of hours in the day, this posses quiet a conundrum. Harry Harrison

I first came across SGT Thunderhoof on their spilt with Howling Giant. The quality of their track compelled me to search for more. And were better to start than the beginning. There are only 5 songs on this album, but, as you’ll discover when you start listening, the SGT love his long tunes that eb & flow with walls of sound punctuated with meandering interludes. This album just gets better the further you get through it. The other reviews are right. Not their best but still really good. Harry Harrison
The surprisingly comical new video from roaring metal group Red Fang is a tip of the hat to the original “Predator.” Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 12, 2016
